1sentence: Balthier/Penelo
This set is for isentence. Again, claim hasn't even been approved yet, but oh well.

#01 - Slow
Balthier, uncharacteristically, insists on this relationship going slowly; she strikes him as too young for anything else.

#02 - Steady
One day Balthier lets Penelo try out the airship controls; he’s impressed by how steady her hands are when she’s never touched them before.

#03 - Breathe
She leans on his shoulder, and he can feel her breath on his neck.

#04 - Relax
Very few people have ever seen him be completely relaxed; she isn’t actually an exception.

#05 – Friends
She thought being around him was much different than being around her regular friends, though she did have a feeling she might have the same problems trying to keep him out of trouble.

#06 - Candle
One night Penelo nearly burned down a tent attempting to make the setting romantic; Balthier assured her it was a nice thought.

#07 - Light
Light was something that came to mind when he thought of her, unlike his past which somehow only seemed dark.

#08 - Stars
They’ve had long conversations about them, on nights when keeping watch was little more than staying awake.

#09 - Sunrise
She would suggest that they watch the sunrise together if she could convince him to get up that early when it wasn’t necessary.

#10 – Daylight
It exists for him even at night, in the form of her hair.

#11 - Stroll
For her walking was a common task and for him it was a bit of a chore, but walking together proved to be a pleasant novelty.

#12 - Food
He’s never met anyone with quite the same appreciation of the concept.

#13 - Rain
She has to take her hair out of the standard pigtails so it can dry more easily; he tells her it looks nice that way.

#14 - Emotions
Penelo doesn’t hide her emotions, but Balthier makes a hobby of it.

#15 – Dance
She enjoys dancing, and he certainly enjoys watching her.

#16 - Lost
When she was tied up in the mines, the handkerchief in her pocket was one of the only things that kept her from feeling completely lost.

#17 - Letter
One day he found a piece of paper containing a letter she had written to him; it was crinkled, worn, and hidden, and from before she even knew his name.

#18 - Colors
He takes her hand in his, and she finds herself dazzled by the many colors of his rings.

#19 - Soul
Sometimes he can’t help but wonder if being around him so much is tainting her somehow.

#20 – Binds
He still has too many, and he doesn’t want to tie her down.

#21 - Links
Somehow what ended up linking them was the mistake of a common enemy.

#22 - Music
Balthier doesn’t point out when Penelo starts humming to herself; instead he listens closely and enjoys the sound.

#23 - Drinks
He wont let her sneak a sip of anything alcoholic; he doubts that he’d succeed in keeping this relationship quite so innocent if they were both drunk.

#24 - Hot
The weather is hot is Dalmasca, and Penelo tries oh so hard to convince him that he really doesn’t need all that clothing.

#25 – Cold
She tells him she’s cold, and he takes the cue to wrap his arms around her.

#26 - Conversation
He has an unfortunate habit of using words she doesn’t know, but she smiles and listens anyway.

#27 - Blanket
Penelo thinks one blanket is plenty for the two of them; Balthier would rather have his own.

#28 – Jewelry
He wears considerably more than she does, and somehow that seems fitting.

#29 - Pride
It might have been a problem for them, if he still held on to the views of the society he gave up.

#30 – Lace
She gave his handkerchief back to him, but she remembers it, every little detail of the lace around the edge.

#31 - Curious
Curiosity is a large part of what draws her to him, not that she would admit it.

#32 - Windy
She thinks he looks majestic when the wind is blowing his hair about; he just finds it frustrating that he’ll have to fix it.

#33 - Parents
He knows he should be sad for her that her parents are gone, but sometimes all he can conjure up is envy.

#34 - Duty
He says he doesn’t have any, and she recalls the people she left behind in Rabanastre.

#35 – Crying
She was crying the first time he saw her, so he lent her his handkerchief.

#36 - Share
She shares much of her past with him; he doesn’t return the favor.

#37 - Keep
She doesn’t have anything of his to keep, nor does he have anything of hers; their only keepsakes are memories.

#38 - Close
Somehow she feels close to him, despite the fact that she knows next to nothing about him.

#39 - Simplicity
With the ornateness that pervades everything about Balthier, it amazes him that he’s somehow found himself with a girl that lives on simplicity.

#40 – Grave
Aside from Fran, she’s the only one that knows he made a small grave for his father when they returned from the Pharos.

#41 - Tomorrow
It’s a concept Penelo worries about more than Balthier, but both would rather focus on today.

#42 - Run
It’s what he does, despite assertions that he flies instead, but sometimes when she’s looking at him he finds he can’t quite move at all.

#43 – Flying
His place is the sky and it seems like one day it may be hers as well.

#44 - Whisper
This all began when she whispered him a question and he, without thinking, said yes.

#45 – Window
She gets such a look of childlike amazement when she looks out the window of the airship that he can’t help but find it adorable.

#46 - Apologies
When she returned her beloved keepsake to him, she said she was sorry for all the dried tears.

#47 - Bugs
He can’t stand them, and she laughs at him when he occasionally jumps at the sight of creepy-crawlies.

#48 - Sleep
She falls asleep snuggled against him, and he doesn’t bother to move her to her own bed.

#49 - End
Balthier knows that this relationship won’t last; Penelo hopes it will never end.

#50 – Doors
The Strahl’s doors are always open to her; that’s something not many can say.
